The game stars Onyx and she is a badass with a capital B. She looks like a million bucks and the game takes place on the mean streets of New Babylon which is a dystopian cyberpunk kind of place where bad gangs roam the streets. She has her own story, but she is going to have to get past a bunch of bad people to see it through to the end. I am very excited to see the full extent of the story in Pure Onyx and even in this early stage, the bones are here for something pretty cool.

One of the things that has gotten me and pretty much everyone else excited about the game is the visuals. It is pretty crazy to think that this is a game that is being funded via Patreon. It has the polish of a high-class AAA game. The game has a very stylish look to it and it is very hard to keep your eyes off Onyx as you play. She has these massive bouncing boobs and her animations are very well done. The whole game has a dark and moody vibe to it and you know that this is one bad place that you do not want to be alone in.

Pure Onyx is bringing it big time when it comes to the visuals and over at their Patreon page, there are some awesome videos showcasing the animations. The gameplay is a classic side-scrolling brawler. Think of the classics such as Double Dragon and Renegade and you will have an idea of what to expect here. Onyx has a great selection of attacks, but it is not going to bog you down with a ton of stuff that makes combat overly complex and no fun.

No doubt that when the game is done, more stuff will be added. It is basic right now, but at the end of the day, this is a game that is still in its development phase.
