Is it possible to dictate how windows should react when clicking on that link in a email?

In reply to Michael Ryan Zuber's post on October 30, If you use file explorer and enter the ftp site it works fine. I do not know why Microsoft left the tool nonworking without telling folks. In reply to Condry's post on October 30, This is where you need to type the FTP site address. In my case, the FTP address comes with a specific port number So, I typed the FTP address along with its port number.
Do keep in mind that if the FTP site is protected with a username and password, Windows will prompt you for those details.
